Yet, amidst the chaos, we have the power to cultivate inner peace and resilience. Today’s affirmation, “My soul remains calm,” reminds us to embrace tranquility and find strength within ourselves.
One effective way to anchor this calmness is through deep belly breathing. This simple yet powerful practice can help reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and improve overall well-being. Here’s a quick guide to deep belly breathing:
- Find a Comfortable Position: Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Ensure your back is straight and your shoulders are relaxed.
- Place Your Hands: Place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly.
- Inhale Deeply: Take a slow, deep breath through your nose, allowing your belly to rise as you fill your lungs with air.
- Exhale Slowly: Breathe through your mouth, letting your belly fall gently.
- Repeat: Continue this breathing pattern for 5-10 minutes, focusing on the rise and fall of your belly with each breath.

Difficulties allow me to exercise my focus and determination. I trust my faith and concentrate on maintaining a calm soul during trying times. This approach will help me to conquer the challenges that face me.
I avoid being reactive to demanding situations that catch me off guard. Instead of allowing confrontation to anger me is easy, I choose to be proactive and take the higher road.
I embrace silence and spend time nurturing my mind and spirit. As a result, I remain calm even when others have lost their way and cannot overcome challenging situations.
When I encounter resistance in my life, my first emotion is not anger or fear. Instead, I silence my mind and open my heart to gain more understanding. I ignore the rise of impatience and irritation that pull at me. They serve no purpose, so I block them out completely.
I realize that giving in to negativity only serves to aggravate my situation. Therefore, I focus on overcoming challenges by counteracting negativity with positivity and peace.
I remind myself that I am wise enough to handle anything that life brings my way, remembering that when my soul is calm, I can think things through more clearly. I can make intelligent choices that produce excellent results by rejecting unease at my core.
Today, I am a conqueror. I can overcome any obstacle.
I create healthy boundaries. I remove everything and everyone that would hinder the serenity in my life; instead of focusing on my mistakes, I can see the value in all my life experiences. Even obstacles become worthwhile and meaningful when seen in my light of truth.
