Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

You don’t have to give up the satisfying taste of something sweet because you are prediabetic, diabetic, or have a history of diabetes in your family.  You can satisfy your cravings by indulging in sweet fruits like berries, apples, figs, or cherry tomatoes.  Veggies like squash, yams, and seasonings such as nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon can calm your sweet buds as well.  When I am craving for something sweet, I make my favorite banana and almond butter smoothie

Almond Butter and Banana Smoothie Recipe

1 Cup of Almond Milk

1 Banana

2 teaspoons of Almond Butter or Peanut Butter

1 Cup of ice

Add all the ingredients and to your blender and blend until smooth.

Wishing You Peace and Love,

Renee
